Beltinci (SI)

The Municipality of Beltinci (8,700 inhabitants on an area of 62 km2) is situated on the left bank of the River Mura. The Municipality is made up of 8 villages. The main natural wealth of the Municipality is fertile soil. More than half of the area consists of gardens, fields and orchards. The Municipality is a geographically compact unit with a rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, vibrant folk culture, a rich oral tradition and a well developed tourist infrastructure. One of the most valuable resources of the Municipality is its unspoiled natural environment. Many activities taking place along the River Mura e.g. tourism, have a significant ecological impact.

Our LIEF

In the Forum all local actors work together and develop a Sustainable Energy Action Plan. Its idea is the cooperation of as many partners as possible in order to have various inputs which have an influence on the work of the Forum.

Our Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP)

It marks the main work of the Forum. Its aim is to bring sustainability into the city by formulating an action plan which was developed by all local actors which took part in the Forum.

Implementation
