Grenoble Alpes Métropole s’est engagée dans la mise en place et le pilotage d’un Plan Climat Local depuis 2005. Le Plan Climat doit fédérer le maximum d’acteurs du territoire, au travers du Forum du Plan Climat, autour d’objectifs communs de lutte contre l’effet de serre, avec des valeurs de consommations énergétiques et d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre à atteindre en 2010, puis en 2020 dans le cadre des « 3x20 » européens et un positionnement dans la démarche « facteur 4 » à l’horizon 2050.

Des actions de sensibilisation du grand public sont ainsi mises en place, avec l’appui des partenaires, dans le but d’accroître la prise de conscience des citoyens de l’agglomération afin qu’ils se sentent concernés et s’engagent personnellement à lutter contre le changement climatique.

La thématique retenue pour ces premières actions de sensibilisation dans le cadre du Plan Climat est l’habitat, qui constitue un important gisement d’économies d’énergie dans l’agglomération.

L’exposition d’une « maison économe » grandeur nature, la diffusion de guides sur l’habitat adaptés à la région grenobloise, des campagnes de sensibilisation sur l’éclairage puis sur l’isolation, des formations destinées aux employés territoriaux ont constitué les temps forts des plans d’actions 2005-2008.

In the Forum all local actors work together and develop a Sustainable Energy Action Plan. Its idea is the cooperation of as many partners as possible in order to have various inputs which have an influence on the work of the Forum.

2. Creation of a Scientific Council of the Local Climate Plan (LCP), with 3 missions :
- Evaluation of public policies (economic and environmental evaluation)
- Elaboration of a long term strategy in order to highlight political decisions
- Training for LCP stakeholders, technicians and local authorities
3. New partnership with “CCI” (Industry and Trade Council) in order to involve industrial and commercial partners in the LCP

Icon title section  Our Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP)

It marks the main work of the Forum. Its aim is to bring sustainability into the city by formulating an action plan which was developed by all local actors which took part in the Forum.
